Every summer, local shelters face one of their biggest challenges of the year. More pets go missing around the Fourth of July than any other time, while rising temperatures and increased intake place additional strain on already stretched resources. That's why The Drive Tucson has partnered with Pinups for PACC for the second annual Pet Food for PACC campaign, a community-wide food and supply drive benefiting Friends of Pima Animal Care Center. From June 8-28, we're asking Tucson to help fill collection bins across the city with pet food, treats, toys, bedding, and other essential supplies that help shelter pets stay fed, comfortable, and cared for while they wait for their forever homes.
Founded by Torrie Fortune in 2022, Pinups for PACC was created to support shelter pets beyond a single fundraising event. Since then, the organization has become known for its creative fundraising efforts, adoption awareness campaigns, pet supply drives, and community events benefiting Friends of Pima Animal Care Center and the local pet community.
Community members are encouraged to donate:
• Dry and wet pet food
• Treats and toys
• Leashes and collars
• Towels, blankets, and sheets
• Pee pads and cat litter
• Pet beds, crates, and kennels
• Grooming supplies
• Pet medications
• Empty prescription bottles
Every donation, large or small, helps provide comfort and care for animals waiting for their forever homes.
Donation bins are available throughout Tucson, Marana, Casas Adobes, and Oro Valley:
Tucson's premier doggy ice cream parlor, boutique, and pet event space dedicated to supporting local rescues, promoting adoption, and celebrating pets and their people.

The Pet Food for PACC campaign concludes with Plates for PACC on Sunday, June 28, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Fork & Fire Oro Valley.
During the event, 15% of dinner sales will be donated to Friends of Pima Animal Care Center to help feed and care for shelter pets. Guests are encouraged to bring pet food and supply donations while enjoying great food, community fellowship, and a fun evening supporting a worthy cause.
Attendees can meet the Pinups for PACC team, participate in raffles including a 50/50 drawing, and visit with special guests Matt & Randi from The Drive Tucson, who will be hosting the event starting at 4pm!
Together, we can help fill those bins, support local shelters, and make a real difference for pets throughout Southern Arizona.
