Music Under the Star with the Tucson Pops Orchestra – Spring 2025

Get ready for a true Tucson tradition as Music Under the Stars returns this May. The Tucson Pops Orchestra will once again fill the night air with incredible music at the DeMeester Outdoor Performance Center in Reid Park. These free, family-friendly concerts start at 7:00 PM every Sunday evening and are a perfect way to wrap up a spring weekend in the Old Pueblo.

Spring 2025 Concert Schedule:

• May 11 – Mother’s Day Celebration with Mariachi Tapatio
  Celebrate all the amazing moms with an evening of lively mariachi music and community spirit.
• May 25 – Memorial Day Tribute with the Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus
  A powerful evening honoring our nation’s heroes, featuring the Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus and marking the final public performance by longtime director Julian Ackerly after 45 years.
• May 18 – Katherine Byrnes Performs Carole King’s Tapestry
  Tucson’s own Katherine Byrnes brings the legendary Carole King album to life with heartfelt performances of the classic songs we all know and love.

Food trucks coordinated by the Southern Arizona Animal Food Bank will be on-site, and proceeds help feed pets in need across our community. There will also be a beer garden offering local beer and wine to enjoy during the show.

Since 1955, the Tucson Pops Orchestra has been a beloved part of our community, bringing world-class music to thousands each season. Under the direction of Maestro Khris Dodge, they continue this incredible tradition with passion and heart.
