Tucson has a way of showing up for each other, and this season is no different. The Holiday Community Event at Gospel Rescue Mission is one of those moments where the Old Pueblo comes together...families, neighbors, and folks who just need a little warmth and connection.
They’ll be serving a full Thanksgiving meal, offering clothing, haircuts, activities for the kids, live music, and those small comforts that mean the world when life feels heavy. It’s all happening at their campus on South Palo Verde, and everyone is welcome, no one has to spend the holiday alone.
If your heart’s nudging you, they’re collecting turkeys, pies, canned goods, hygiene items, and even dog food. Volunteers are welcome too, because a simple smile or a helping hand can turn someone’s whole day around.
This is Tucson at its best, coming together, lifting each other up, and making the season a little brighter for every person who walks through the door.
