Official Contest Rules
The DRIVE Tucson's "BEETLE-MANIA" Classic Car Giveaway
Contest Dates
The contest starts on September 21, 2024, and ends on November 23, 2024.
Who Can Enter
To enter, you must:
1. Be at least 18 years old.
2. Live in Southern Arizona (Eligible counties are listed below.)
3. Have a valid driver’s license and proof of Southern Arizona residency.
4. Show proof of valid car insurance.
5. Not work for KDRI, Bustos Media Holdings LLC, or any competing radio stations. Employees of Larry H. Miller are not eligible. Family members of all stated employees are not eligible.

How to Enter
You can enter the contest in two easy ways:
1. (ONLINE) Go to TheDriveTucson.com and sign up to be an Official Drive Roadie.
2. (MAIL) Send a letter with your name, email, zip code, and phone number to “BEETLE-MANIA,” c/o KDRI, 3222 S. Richey Ave., Tucson, AZ 85713. Be sure to write down one of our Official Drive Songs in order to qualify!
Contest participants are eligible to qualify for the on-air portion of this promotion up to five times daily. Registrations for live events are valid exclusively on the day of the event and are non-transferable to subsequent events. Upon selection as an official finalist, participants are prohibited from entering any future qualifying rounds associated with this promotion.
Should a participant's name be drawn as a finalist, they must present a valid driver’s license, valid physical address (utility bill, water bill, etc.) and proof of current auto insurance once the official finalist certificate is awarded, without exception. Only one member per household may serve as a finalist, and each individual may obtain finalist status only once. In the event that an invalid driver’s license is presented, the contest participant must provide a valid driver's ID and all required forms of residency by the close of the following business day. Failure to do so will result in automatic disqualification from finalist status.
How to Qualify for the Grand Prize
1. (LISTEN FOR THE BEETLE HORN) Listen for the sound of the "Official Beetle Horn" on weekdays between 6 AM and 8 PM. When you hear it, go to TheDriveTucson.com, click on "BEETLE-MANIA" and enter the song title or artist that aired right after the SFX horn. You will have up to 5 opportunities per day to qualify with the on-air portion of the promotion.
2. (RANDOM DRAWINGS) Each weekday morning at 7:25 AM, two people will be randomly selected as qualifiers. If chosen, you’ll get an official certificate that you’ll need to bring with you to the final event on November 23, 2024, to participate in the final drawing.
3. (DRIVE ROADIE FRIDAYS) Each Friday at 12:05 PM, one Drive Roadie will be randomly selected to automatically qualify. You can become a Drive Roadie for free by signing up at TheDriveTucson.com.
4. (LIVE EVENTS) KDRI will be hosting live broadcasts at local businesses during the contest. If you show up at one of these events, you can register on site for a chance to qualify for said event.
The Final Event
On November 23, 2024, all the qualifiers will meet at Larry H. Miller Volkswagen in Tucson. A designated time will be announced prior to the event on when to check in. If you are NOT there by the assigned time to check in, your finalist position will be disqualified. Each qualifier will randomly choose their own code to unlock the key safe. Whoever enters the correct code will win the 1973 Custom VW Beetle.
What the Winner Must Do
To claim the prize, the winner must:
1. Be at the final event in person.
2. Have their eligibility checked by KDRI management.
3. Sign a form verifying they’re eligible and agree to let KDRI use their name and photo for publicity.
4. Agree to the contest rules and release KDRI, Bustos Media, their staff, and sponsors from any claims related to participating in or winning the contest.
5. Winners are required to be residents of Pima, Pinal, Santa Cruz, or Cochise counties in Arizona. Proof of residency will be required with an Arizona driver's license or government issued identification with current address, or a utility bill (electric, gas, or phone) from the last 60 days with current Arizona mailing address. Final determination of eligible residency will be made by management of Bustos Media, LLC.
Prize Details
The grand prize winner will get a 1973 Customized Volkswagen Beetle. They’ll be responsible for any taxes, registration, insurance, or future repairs. The car is given “As Is,” with no warranties or guarantees from KDRI or Larry H. Miller Volkswagen. Winner must take possession of the vehicle by providing proof of insurance on the vehicle by December 6, 2024, and may be subject to forfeit the prize.
This prize may not be substituted for cash and if the winner is unable to take possession of the vehicle with valid insurance, they will forfeit the prize, and no substitution will be provided. If the prize cannot be awarded to the original winner of the vehicle, a random drawing will occur from entries that qualified and the vehicle will be awarded to the alternate winner, who will have to meet all criteria as noted above.
Secondary prizes will be awarded by Bookman's Entertainment Exchange and all items are subject to Bookman's Entertainment Exchange company policies. No substitutions for prizes provided will be allowed.
