Chicano Tucsano Music Festival: A Tucson Tradition Returns May 10
Get ready for a night of music, culture, and connection. The Chicano Tucsano Music Festival happens Saturday, May 10 at the AVA Amphitheater at Casino Del Sol. This isn’t just a concert, it’s a celebration of the Southwest’s soulful soundtrack.
It all starts with the Lowrider Car Show from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Expect custom rides, classic cars, and Tucson pride on full display.
Later that evening, the music begins at 7 p.m. The lineup features some of the most iconic names in Chicano soul and Latin rock:
You’ll hear smooth R&B, Latin rhythms, and songs that shaped generations.
Even if you didn’t grow up with this music, you’ll feel right at home. These songs connect people...across cultures, generations, and backgrounds.
Bring friends. Bring family. Or come for a solo night out under the stars. However, you show up, you’ll be part of something special.
The festival takes place at the AVA Amphitheater, Tucson’s premier outdoor concert venue. It opened in 2001 and seats about 5,000 people.
It’s named after Anselmo Valencia Tori, a World War II veteran and respected Pascua Yaqui leader. The venue honors his legacy and the community’s deep cultural roots.
Great music. Great people. And a one-of-a-kind Tucson atmosphere.
Tickets are on sale now, and the event is expected to sell out.
Join us for a night that celebrates the past, the present, and the power of music to bring us all together.
