Being a pet parent or pet sitter can come with plenty of unexpected challenges and even emergencies. Prepare yourself to act with confidence in any situation with the Humane Society of Southern Arizona’s Pet Safety and First Aid class. You’ll learn how to identify poisonous plants, perform life-saving care, and prevent emergencies before they happen.

The course will be held at HSSA’s main campus on November 12th from 1-5PM.

Snuggles:

8 years old

Has been through our foster care system

She does have FIV, a disease that can be spread to other cats

FIV is Feline immunodeficiency virus

It is NOT transmittable from cat to human, but can be spread from cat to cat

She will need to be an indoor cat because of this virus

However, it doesn’t slow her down at all when it comes to being an incredible housecat and friend

Low energy girl – she loves lounging around and taking it easy

She would love to be a lap cat or just a kind presence in your home
